We came to learn to have a functional relationship and have healthy communication with family and friends! Instead, Leon taught us to do perverted toxic stuff as a misguided effort to achieve the above! That’s why we were confused. The type of ranting, attacks, codependent helping, advising, brainstorming behavior I practiced in Leon's group under his guidance was eventually harmful to me, and his advice about manipulating, demeaning, and flirting with girls like an emotionally abusive psychopath was harmful to not just me but to others as well. I was a better person before I joined his group, and copying the personality of a manipulative devious sadistic short man was the biggest mistake in my life!
Leon was a callous, mean person who didn't care about others and admittedly practiced manipulations and got a thrill out of covert sadism, but pretended to be very nice in order to be seemingly socially successful and to use others for his own benefit. I also think he trained us to lose empathy toward other people! Because the attitudes he espoused on us are only something someone without empathy would do! Leone manufactured a trauma and stress response, then presented his own cult like psychopathic maladapted behaviors as a solution, then praised for following it against our own better judgement (correct response would be to walk away, then sue him for damages). Right! While he presents himself as a therapist, my time with him felt more like being drawn into a personal belief system or even a kind of cult. He uses therapy language and seems to know how to talk the talk, but mixes real therapeutic ideas with his own personal opinions and manipulative tactics. This made me feel confused, second-guessing myself, and unsure of what was actually helpful or harmful. right!..the rat created a cult out of people who thought Group Therapy for anxiety, depression, relationships and social skills..he misrepresented himself as a relationship teacher, but encouraged and instructed toxic harmful inappropriate stuff and charged money for it.
right!.. the duty of a provider is to protect the patient from their weaknesses, not take advantage of them. the fact rat said he will abuse patients if he sees them not protesting it, shows he has no remorse or morals. a fake guy and a social criminal.
Definitely shame on Dr Leone...acting like he knows something that can help and giving awfully incorrect advice to people who are looking for TRUSTED advice is a violation of trust, ethics, malpractice and exploitation. We met a provider who emotionally manipulated us, mislead us, gave us incorrect advice, never took actual responsibility for it beyond shedding seeming guilt off his shoulders, and targeted us with controlling NLP style tactics. Rat encouraged social behavior that violates boundaries and makes you look bad; I started making risky Facebook posts and being creepy to girls saying unnatural things to them just to push the boundaries as an experiment. I started taking risks and haphazardly messaging girls which then labeled me as a creep. I was soooo much better with girls before the rat group. I was stupid, but I wasn't HARMFUL.
