The effect of being exposed to Leon’s personality and therapy attempts was: A. You lash out against people who are nice to you B. You isolate from your support network C. You pick fights with people in your support network out of misguided frustration D. You jump into relationships with abusers and then trigger them to abuse you to get a thrill and think it’s normal (you should distance from abusers and avoid triggering them to protect yourself). E. You start trying to change people’s personalities and trigger them (which is... read more

The worst part of being expose to Leon as a therapist, is that you copy his abusive psychopathic sadistic interaction style and he leaves you emotionally crippled and brainwashed with his nastiness for years and decades after being exposed to him.

Yea, we eventually concluded the guy seems like a rare sadist (think type of people who torture animals for pleasure) and molester-type who doesn’t respect his patients and pretends to be nice to fit into society; essentially groom and use-abuse pattern.

He remarked that “he will be sadistic if you let him,..and that is how he can tell if a patient is being pathetic”. You would tell him how he is bad, and he would mock you and reply with how you are the problem.

The guy’s therapy amounted to first mirroring everything the patient said and then training them to engage in “outward aggression” toward others and praising it, reinforcing it, and giving life lessons to get admiration and convert patients into cult like followers admiring and worshiping the guy, while despising and hating his critics. People the e sta lost personal relationships where they are proud of their outward negativity they learned from him and this abuse from them is accepted. I believe there was a lot of narcissi... read more

He would give incorrect and harmful advice, then insist he helped them when they reported he harmed them, would gaslight people and deny what he clearly said, would get angry when people raise concerns about him acting outside the scope of his license, mock them and demand they stop criticising him, and coerce them saying they are endangering the therapy process for others by bringing up safety concerns about him. Would also play victim and demand people he harmed have sympathy for him and let him abuse them because he has a... read more

Very insidious man, who would covertly groom, abuse and turn his group members into mean people alienated from their benign families. Very sick guy. Abused his authority as a therapist in many unethical ways and acted outside the scope of his psychologist’s license! Took steps to hide and mislead people about what he was doing too. Extremely harmful and unethical!

i was mute and autistic, graduated college and jobless; i came to college health center and they said 'go to a co-ed group therapy'. i picked his name from a list because he was harvard affiliated and had a centrally located office. he seemed like a weak therapist and i was going to not continue until he smiled and said, 'Well, X, the WOMEN in the group will go CRAZY over you.' So I gave it a try. He trauma bonded me by humiliating a girl in the group telling her to ask a guy out and get rejected and blamed it on me, making ... read more

Yes, he was definitely lying, turning patients against each other, feeding off causing pain, isolating people in his group, enjoyed causing chaos.
