Dr. Crutcher has been my doctor for well over 20 years. He spends the time necessary to get answers for my concerns. I appreciate his expertise, experience and care for me. He is one of the top surgeons in my book and I've had more than a few!

Dr Crutcher has done two knee replacements for me. Both went perfectly. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and attentive. I would recommend him for any joint replacement. He’s the best!

In 2003, Dr. Crutcher replaced my left knee. I have broken off the left side of my tibia plateau in a skiing accident 29 years earlier. It got surgically repaired but I never could fully straighten or stretch it out and it started crippling me. I had an arthroscopy, the Ortho Doctor spent over 2 hours that should have been an hour. The swelling and pain—we won’t talk about the blood clots in both lungs—and the surgeon sent me to Swedish and Dr. Crutcher. Thank God. He found me a nickel free prosthetic. Then, I required a hip... read more

I’ve been to 3 other doctors that said nothing was wrong with my hip. He looked and read all my MRI, X-rays, and we decided to go ahead with hip replacement. I was in a car accident that broke my back under my rods, fractured my hip and damaged my knee. I had back surgery (3rd one) which finally worked. 12 weeks later, while stopped for a little girl to cross the street was rear ended by a speedy car. I couldn’t walk after being hit and Dr. Crutcher was the only doctor that was willing to do the surgery. So my back and knee ... read more

In Feb. of 2017 Dr. Crutcher performed a knee replacement on my right knee. It’s now June 2019 and I’m in more pain and less mobile than before the surgery. I too tried to get help from Dr. Crutcher only yo be told there’s nothing wrong. At this point my quality of life has suffered to the point that I need pain medication every day. The recovery from the first surgery was so painful yet I don’t think I have any other option than to have a second surgery.

Dr Crutcher replaced my hip over a year ago, and I am still in pain. At each visit, I would complain about my pain, only to be told “your x-rays are fine” and ushered out the door. At this point I am in more pain than I was before the surgery and am scheduled for an mri and an appointment with another surgeon. It has all been a miserable experience.
