Dr Crutcher replaced my right knee in January and performed arthroscopic surgery on my left knee in May. Today we reviewed my progress with both knees. Troublesome areas were treated and a plan for future care created. Nice collaboration. Very pleased.
He's personable and upbeat. He discusses life-changing solutions for pain. His manner is gentle and friends who have gone to him see he is very competent. I can see who others have recommended him to me. Very appreciated!
After having serious problems after my knee replacement with a surgeon who would not order any diagnostic tests and told me I was just the type of person who gets a lot of scar tissue, I sought a second opinion from Dr. Crutcher. He was one hour late to my appointment, spent about five minutes with me, asked hardly any questions and told me to wait a year before seeking further help. I had heard stories of people who were allergic to their prosthetic, and asked him if I might have a metal allergy. He categorically told me “n... read more
Dr Crutcher was recommended to me from a woman who had two hips replaced by him. Though I’m not a candidate for surgery at this point, I learned a great deal, have a better understanding of what is causing pain and a plan forward. Expertise delivered with kindness and Big Picture knowledge. So appreciated!
Dr. Crutcher is thoughtful and thorough. I’ve been his patient for many years and wouldn’t go to any other orthopedic surgeon for problems with my knees.

Within six to seven months, I was back to hiking and daily walks, losing my four-wheeled walker. He saw me recently because of an atrophied muscle in my right groin--thought until recently to be caused by radiation for the cancer. He referred me to one of his partners for an indepth ultrasound. Dr. Crutcher is very kind and gracious! I h... read more
Dr. Crutcher was knowledgeable and professional, but took time to ask me pertinent questions about my experience and concerns. He listened carefully to my responses!
Dr Crutcher carefully reviewed my MRI and confidently determined a remedy to correct my hip issue. Dr Crutcher has successfully surgically performed hip and knee replacements for myself and other family and friends. We trust him and that is why there is such a long wait to see him but it’s worth the wait!
This will be my third joint replacement with Dr. Crutcher and he explains everything thoroughly. He is a very kind man.
