Dr. Oliver was my mother’s hospitalist physician during her hospital stay at UAB. He is such a gentleman, and we were totally impressed with his kind and compassionate bedside manners. He called me every morning with an update on my mother, and spoke as if he were a long time friend. He made us feel so comfortable and important. He is extremely intelligent young man, but doesn’t talk over your head like many doctors do…he explains things in a way that even a child can understand them. Dr. Oliver is a doctor for my mother who is in Nolands's LTAC hospital St. Vincent's in Birmingham. Since he's been her doctor, her physical condition has much improved. I'm very grateful about this. However, over the last 10 days, on 5 different occasions, I have left notes with four different nurses (James, Jill [2X], Raven, and Ashley) on floor 6, for him to call me back and it took until today, (April 25th) for him to call me back.
