Came to see him for a forearm fracture. The dope did not even exam the x-rays or check the arm. When I was leaving I told him I have a fracture. He was surprised and said OH you have a fracture. I said yes I was here for your second opinion. Nothing happened and he definitely does not care. I would be concerned that he is a sports team physicians for my dogs. Absolutely completely indifferent and disinterested. It is frightening to be treated by Texas MDs!

Very kind, caring, and professional. Recent total hip replacement went well. Healing great with minimal pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mathis to others seeking joint replacement. His surgical assistant and surgical coordinator are awesome, too.

I had a very successful total knee replacement. Surgery was scheduled very efficiently at Memorial Hermann, who were also wonderful. Dr Mathis is caring and committed to doing the best for his patients. I also have to give praise to Dr Mathis's fabulous assistant, Dawn. A really good overall experience.

Awesome orthopedic surgeon in that he has an excellent bedside manner as well as a great surgeon. I just had a minor knee arthroscopy due to a tear in my meniscus & have hardly had any pain & was walking minus crutches 3rd day with practically no limping. I would recommend him & have to my friends with any knees issues. Thanks!
