Dr Mathis did a total knee replacement on me and it was an easy procedure and physical therapy got me back on my feet quickly. He is the best Orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Mathis replaced my hip a few years ago. Did a excellent job back to work in 3 weeks. Pain gone. Totally happy with it. Today I'm heading back to get the other hip done.
The staff is HORRIBLE. Dr. seems capable, but doesn't care about patients. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone i care about.

I made the mistake of letting Dr. Mathis perform a shoulder replacement back in October of 2018. In follow up visits, I let him know there was a significant amount of pain in the front and rear of my shoulder. He seemed not to care. Additionally I let him know of numbness in my upper forearm and again he seemed not to care. It's now been a little over 2 years now since the surgery and I've seen another orthopedic surgeon about the ongoing pain. I wish I could use no stars. Please do not use this doctor for any type of major surgery. He has ruined my life. I had hip replacement that went very wrong. He didn’t if bother to check up on me.
I received no post op care or pt from Dr. Mathis or his assistant, Dawn, who writes reviews for him. He has left me in pain and unable to walk. He got angry when I asked for cane and,handicapped sticker. I am 79 years old.
Superb surgeon. Highly recommended. Wouldn’t have anyone else do my surgery. Had two knees replaced. Feel like my own. Staff and PT are also top notch!
