Steer clear of this man. He has an agenda to get you on medication or switch your medication to one he wants. He won’t believe you if you tell him you felt serious side effects. He will tell you there are no side effects and write you up as a non compliant patient. Such a rude person. He will brush you off if what you are saying is not to his liking. Find another doctor, because there are many out there that do care and will listen.

My first meeting I had with Dr. Fitts a bad feeling so I spoke with the doctor that set me up with him and he told me to give him another try, so I did for the next 3 years (twice a year ) this time he enter the room angry and upset , followed with a sharp exchange (,he doesn't listen well ) , he favors certain meds but neglects any side effects or not getting results from what he prescribed , told me he was 20 minutes behind , did NOT perform any evaluations but reported I had denied them , put I was never asked , and final... read more

Came in late, spent literally 4.5 minutes with me. Ask him critical questions, answered “I don’t know” … too lazy to respond. Told me he had spent too much time and said he answered my question. Don’t know what his technical skills are like, but I will never return to him. Just awful

Less than 2 weeks after I'd had a pacemaker implanted, I had a follow-up visit with Dr Fitts. I told him I'd been experiencing dizziness, shortness of breath, and a severely distended abdomen for several days. He told me he could do a cardio catheterization AFTER he got back from vacation in a few weeks. I asked him if another doctor could do it since I didn't think I could wait and he said no. Immediately discounted previous provider's diagnosis. Does not listen and his NP does not as well. Also, they do not read MyChart prior to entering the exam room so the time is spent with their reading the MyChart test results and notes from previous encounters. Finally asked to switch doctors. SO glad I did!

I had been seeing him because Eisenhower set me up with him after an emergency room visit. I continued to see him for 2-3 years. Then after coming in for a routine visit, with EKG, he came into the examining room and told me he was putting me into the hospital because I needed a pacemaker. Then he left. He did not explain then why I needed one. Later in the ER a PA explained a bit why I needed one, but there was a language barrier. I truly did not understand why I needed a pacemaker. I found him to be very cold, unfeeling or caring bordering on downright rude. I got the impression from the moment he walked in that he really didn’t want to be there. Medically he did his job, but it was not a good experience.

Dr. Fitts is rude, spent one hour literally yelling at me. Did not explain treatment I received from report from emergency hospital. I had to get a copy of report and look everything up on line. Only talked about how great he is, not how important the patient is. I'm not going back.
