Not a very good doctor. I was suffering from abdominal pain and came to Dr. Lin in 2018 for help. He diagnosed me as having an ulcer which, after paying for an endoscopy, turned out to be false. Even though the diagnosis was negated, he kept me on acid reducers which did nothing to stop the pain. I begged and pleaded with him to look for other possible causes, as I was suffering, but he couldn't care less. Referred to Dr. Lin for a 10-Year Colonoscopy as a standard cancer screen procedure from my annual psychical within Stanford Health Care . Got a typical 10-minutes remote video pre-procedure session where he discussed the procedure and asked about previous colonoscopy history then prescribed Sutab- a bowl cleaning subscription drug. His office never scheduled a colonoscopy nor returned my call asking for a procedure date. The doctor did not share detailed information about procedure. Have to call right before the procedure to have the right procedure scheduled. After the procedure, have to call insurance company, hospital bill department several time to have bill properly processed.
Not a very good doctor. He misdiagnosed me as having chemical gastritis, wouldn't give me a diet plan to follow and prescribed drugs that didn't help at all. I suffered stomach pain for a year before I finally found a doctor who determined the real problem (yeast overgrowth). If you want someone who can give you a very basic idea of what's wrong with no solutions, he's definitely your man!
