Prompt, courteous, takes his time to visit and catch up on anything pertaining to your situation. Try’s to figure all angles. Very personable!!!
Excellent communication around the tell-visit. Doctor went through working diagnosis and explanation of problem, discussion of robiotic approach vs open and what was best, risks of surgery and recovery process.
Dr. Prieto listens and follows up with you. He treats his patents as if they are the only one. Highly recommend him.
I believe Dr Prieto made history in San Antonio Texas. He operated on my 99 year old Dad when other Dr’s had given up. My Dad is very very strong and wants to continue living but his wishes fell on deaf ears. Thank God for Dr. Prieto who came through at the 11th hour. Had it not been for his efforts, I believe my dad would not be here today. We are so so grateful Dr Prieto and hope you continue to successfully help save other lives! THANK U??????
Dr Prieto does not t do prior authorizations for the medications he prescribes. I was told to take the prescription ($1,500 but with my insurance’s prior authorization $31) or an over the counter vitamin ($35)......whichever is cheaper. What I read was that the prescriptions more effective than vitamin. With my insurance the prescription was cheaper. All he has to do is make a phone call for prior authorization. Dr. Prieto is one of a kind. He is gentle, kind and respectful. Treats you like family. The visits don't feel rushed or incomplete because he takes the time to explain the diagnosis. Great at what he does and I highly recommend him. He is the model for what doctors should be like.
On 07/06/18 I had surgery with Dr. Prieto and he was remarkable. Everything he said before the surgery was done to the point. He made me feel secured and comfortable knowingly that I was in good hands. He never ever said something different and did another. I strongly feel that God is working through him especially through his knowledge and miracle hands. I have recommended him to family members and have been pleased too. His staff is caring and friendly. I trust this surgeon with my life.
