I met Schwender for the first time last week to go over an upcoming surgery for a herniated disc. At that appt he found not only that but a fracture in my bone. (Which would explain why I keep getting the herniated discs) I didnt know i had a fracture either but I do remember the day 8 years ago when I fell down the deck stairs and I felt like I broke my back. I greatly appreciate Dr. Schwender scheduling an MRI appointment to discuss options for my lower back pain. I was surprised to learn that even after previous back surgeries and pins in my back, I could have a MRI. The pain is extremely painful and I hope he’ll be able to relive much of that pain! Dr. Schwender is very knowledgeable and personable. Very grateful!

Dr. Schwender explained my back and leg problems and is the first physician who told me he'd do surgery if the steroidinjection doesn't help. What a wonderful day! He agreed to the back surgery and L5 nerve damage release. He doesn't rush the appointment and answers questions. His staff is polite and great as well. I'm so glad my friend told me about Dr. Schwender.
