I was impressed that he took the time to review my chart prior to seeing me for my needs rather then me having to explain everything. He then asked questions to clarify my symptoms and was able to explain what was happening. His straightforward questioning took away embarrassment and addressed sensitive topics. I felt as though the plan is reasonable and if I need to address things in the future I am able to.
I've had to visit Dr. Bresee and his staff a couple different times. Each time I call, or go into the office I'm treated wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and I never feel rushed and all my questions are always answered! I appreciate the work you all do!
Not a good experience. 1.5 months later and still not healed. I can accept that maybe I'm not healing as quick as on average, but overall staff and doctors response is not impressive. Had to call 3 times and tell them I'll find another doctor just to be seen and checked. People showed zero care or concern on the phone. "just ice it" is the common answer. Office pretty much refused to give me a follow up until I got angry. Each call and the eventually final visit I heard "we know who you are"
My biopsy was almost painless. Dr. Bresee kept me in the loop as the samples were taken, and reassured me if I seemed uncomfortable. My recovery was easy and as predicted.
Highly recommended. Would like to tell more, but I am not the best English writer.
Dr Bresee has all the hallmarks of a great doctor. He is caring and treats you as a human being with a warm handshake as he greets you. He remembers your concerns and asks about them. He actually looks at your chart before seeing you. He is careful and thoughtful when doing a procedure. I will surely recommend him to anyone needing urological care.
I have visited Dr. Bresee for a hydrocele. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up having surgery and felt very comfortable with knowing what was going to happen and what to expect.
Between Dr. Bresee and his staff, I don't know which is the worst. Bresee saw me about a year ago and insulted me in every way a doctor can insult a patient, from making jokes about my boxer shorts to refusing to listen to my explanation of my symptoms. He put me on Flomax without talking about its rather serious side-effects. Now, when I ran out of the medication, he refuses to refill it without seeing me even though I am totally out of the meds and am back to square one. Stay away from him.
Would not recommend this Dr. too many times where he has said he will do something and does not follow through. Always has an excuse for no showing at hospital .
