Got my vasectomy with Dr. Bienvenu, and it was a much better experience than I anticipated, probably the best it could be. He was skilled, quick, and super personable. Significantly better than stories from friends in the area. I think this is probably the guy in Knoxville you want for those.
I'm a veteran, and I was referred to Bienvenu for a biopsy. After the procedure, a followup appointment was set for 6 months later. A week before the followup, I was contacted to inform me that it was going to be two weeks later. I complained that I've been waiting all this time and felt he didn't care about his patients after he was paid for the procedure. Dr. Bienvenu was an excellent surgeon, removed my husband’s bladder after chemo treatment!! He was very personable and knowledgeable and took excellent care of my husband!! Highly recommend!!
Dr Bienvenu is my father’s doctor. His team missed a major step my Dad needed post surgery. This miss caused an infection that hospitalized my Dad for seven days and caused potential harm not yet known. Dr Bienvenu is aware of this situation and has not contacted my Dad once. His team told my Dad they would contact him by a date with next steps to correct the action that was long overdue, and they haven’t. Ultimate disappointment and disrespect.
Liked Dr Bienvenu from the very first. Very personable and knowledgeable. The staff at UT Hospital had nothing but nice things to say about him. Would recommend if you need a good urologist.
