As a JMU student, I generally am proud of the food options Harrisonburg offers; however, I have never had a consistently terrible experience anywhere other than Jalapeno. The service is less than subpar, which is a really difficult level to reach. I'm not sure if it's because they are constantly short staffed or if they hire inexperienced people for their waitstaff and then ignore the fact that proper training is necessary to be successful, but of the three times I have eaten here, I have regretted the decision.
