Loved barbecue ribs...but this place nothing to brag about..like my ribs coming off the bones..

This was my first time here and sadly it will be my last. My girlfriend father order the bbq beef brisket and was disappointed with how it looked like roast beef that was over cooked and brown. Brisket is supposed to be pink when you cut in to it. Our waitress never cleared the table and asked us if we would like a refill of our drinks. We said yes but never got them. It was not busy. We are traveling with a large group and went into Jake's with little notice. Not only was the food delicious, but the servers, especially Jess, were excellent, even posing for a photo! Jake's will definitely be a tradition now!
We went with a party of 27. Food was great and our server Jess was awesome! The hostess helped and kept checking on us as well.
We had a generous portions of delicious fried flounder tonight.
