Best ribs I've had in a loooooong time. A must eat... :)
Jakes BBQ is the place to eat if you are in Virginia Beach. All you need to know is you won't be able to eat another BBQ from anybody else. They are located 4.5 miles from the beach just up General Booth Blvd. The brisket the pulled pork BBQ are all good. I can't say any more about it but to stop in and see the friendly crew of servers.
Had a friend that visited VA Beach a week prior to our visit she had posted on FB that she had checked in to Jakes so we decided to try it out on our visit which was a great decision. My family and I loved it! Excellent food and our waitress was awesome!!! I've been coming to Jakes for 15 years. They always have the best food and service. Anytime people talk about BBQ, I always tell them Jakes is the best. I especially love the sweet sauce. So yummy.

Fran Burr- the food is fabulous. The portions are so large enough for another meal. The ribs were voted best of Va Beach. In 2015. And they are the best bbq chicken is moist and tender. Love this casual family friendly restaurant. Staff always smiling and very friendly.
