My experience felt more like I was viewed as a surgical case, not as a whole person. if you can go to a different hospital and different orthopedic surgery clinic, do so. Doesn't seem like the provider and staff communicate within the practice very well, and they don't contact pcp/other specialists to confirm non-surgical diagnosis nor confirm clearance for surgery or specific medications.
