We received this doctor when my wife delivered our baby in the hospital at Medical City Plano. We saw him for the initial appointment and was supposed to see him for a second appointment to clear our child for discharge. Instead, what he said was that he did not need to see our child again since he felt comfortable that he saw the baby the day before. Yet he charged us for the appointment and when I call his office they inform me that the second appointment is still charged regardless for processing discharged paperwork. Gla... read more
We absolutely love this office! Dr.Abraham is not only knowledgeable and thorough, but also so kind and patient with our daughter. He takes the time to listen, explain things clearly, and makes us feel comfortable. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient, especially Rose! From check-in to check-out, the whole process is smooth and stress-free. We feel very fortunate to have such a caring team looking after our child’s health. Highly recommend!
We have been bringing our twins to this office for the past three years without any concerns until their most recent physical exam. During that visit, Dr. Abraham charged us an additional fee for a question he himself initiated, which we subsequently disputed. Today, my wife took our children in for their annual checkup, assuming—reasonably—that a routine physical would not incur a copay. Unfortunately, we were once again charged. While Dr. Abraham is good with children and appears competent, I can’t ignore the highly unethical billing practices. Wellness checks are supposed to be covered 100% by insurance, yet every single visit for all of my children (including a newborn) came with extra office visit charges. He consistently finds questionable or nonexistent issues just to justify billing for something beyond the routine checkup. My daughter’s have been seeing Dr. Abraham since they were born. He has excellent bedside manner and very knowledgeable.
