Do not see this Physician at Southfield location. The office fails to give him messages and the PA neglects to chart your office visit so you are at serious risk. I was urinating blood following surgery and his office failed to relay that to physician. I then went in for Post op and the PA failed to chart what was discussed which jeopardized my job and as single mom I need my job.
I was diagnosed with pinched nerve between C7-T1 and had been in pain for nearly a month. I had sharp radiating pain down my right arm and numbness in my pinky and ring finger causing tremendous pain, poor sleep and quality of life. After seeing Dr. Khalil and determining that surgery was the best course of action I am glad to say that the surgery went great and do not have any more pain. I was also able to go home the same day. Dr. Khalil and his team/staff is by far the best!
Dr. Khalil is the most skillful, intelligent, honest, confident, and sweet Doctor I have ever met. He treats you like family. I had a 52 degree curve in my spine and he performed a spinal fusion on me-a very difficult and major surgery. He did such an amazing job! Everyone that saw my before and after x-rays couldn't believe their eyes (including other surgeons). It's rare to meet an excellent surgeon with such a cheerful, and caring bedside manner. He changed my life! Thank you Dr. Khalil
I am 13 months out from major back surgery of the L4-L5, L5-S1 double fusion , a laminectomy, 2 spacers , 5 screws and 3 posts. I feel great. I am fully active playing softball, hiking, golf. I even went para sailing this past fall. I played golf and softball 5 months after surgery. I found him to be very kind and good sense of humor. The people in the office are great and very helpful. I did a lot of research before I decided to see him. I would recommend him to my friends.
I personally wouldn't leave any stars but it doesn't give me that option. I have a very complex history of spine issues and I seen Dr Kahlil for another opinion. In all my history of seeing specialists this man is by far the rudest, insensitive Doctor i have EVER met. He has the WORST bed side manner. Doesn't listen to anything you say, interrupts you etc. He should be embarrassed! If you're looking to feel like trash when you leave a doctors office...look no further, you've found your guy!
After a 2 level cervical disk replacement surgery by Dr. Khalil, I am in pain 24/7 and have a poor quality of life since surgery. At one level the device is misplaced and has caused a deformity of my neck/spine. I now need a surgery to repair his work. what is also disturbing is that at my follow up appointment he said everything looked great and I had no issues.
