Dr Stirton was the surgeon for my husband’s knee injury. He properly diagnosed my husband’s current injury (complete ACL tear and partial torn MCL) and also resolved past injury issues (cartilage deterioration). His use and knowledge of new technologies and skill as a surgeon are obvious in the progression my husband has experienced after the surgery. We would recommend him 10/10 times.
I went to Dr. Stirton because my regular orthopedist had retired. His creditials were impeccable and his reviews were wonderful. Let me tell you, they were not wrong. I am a pianist and was very concerned about having hand surgery. He was very kind and very understanding about the importance of my hand function after surgery. He was reassuring and explained in detail what would happen during the surgery and the recovery afterwards. We are blessed to have him in our area.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Stirton and his nurse, Amy Rich. From the very beginning of my total knee replacement journey, they provided excellent care, compassion, and professionalism. I was very apprehensive about having surgery. Due to past experiences with infections and incompetence. I let DR. Stirton know my reluctance in trusting the medical profession. After our conversation I felt a little more at ease and went ahead with the surgery. From pre-op to post-op it was a positive experience.
