This will be detailed so there is no room for speculation. I was told I'd be getting steroid shots in my lumbar spine and it would be light sedation. I didn't find out until in a gown for the procedure that it was a nerve block. The nurse said, "Well there's a steroid in the injection." I figured he knew what he was doing so proceeded with 1 of 3.
