RecommendedI just wanted to say Thank you to the Drs, Nurses, Security Officers and other Staff that work at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield!! I have been there many times with my Dad, and last night with my Mom, and the care and caring actions for my parents that is provided has been top notch, professional and personal! I know you were all crazy busy last night, but I saw nothing but kindness and professionalism. I know you don't hear it enough, so please hear This, Thank you, and you are appreciated!😀👍👏!
Hire staff that shows they are educated well, empathetic, and have good bedside manner, talking to you-not down to you. And if they misspeak, don't tell you that both you and your spouse thought you heard him say it but that he didn't If you misspeak, own it and just apologize.
RecommendedI was involved in a serious accident last August and had to have several surgeries since, along with several other stays. Staff have been outstanding. Couldn’t have asked for better care.

the place has nazis for security gaurds
RecommendedI stayed ten days after a complicated heart valve replacement and bypass. dr. hazzellrigg and his team are just amazing. but the high quality treatment I received was from every nurse, tech and support personnel on 6th floor. even the ladies cleaning the room daily were top notch, the memories of how wonderful I was taken care of and treated with respect in such a difficult time will always be with me. thanks to all the folks who had a hand in my care. oh I will say food was awful most of it inedible.
