My husband does not compliment anyone frequently but he said Dr. McGuffey should be teaching others doctors how to communicate with patients. My husband Mike loved him. He then asked me if he Dr. McGuffey was going to be his regular eye doctor. I had to explain no he was a specialist. I am here to say if you need an eye doctor in the Madison area ask for Dr. McGuffey. You will be well pleased.
I am new to Madison from Pittsburgh Pa. This past summer I had lenses replaced in Philadelphia at Wills Eye hospital. From Pittsburgh to Philly was a 41/2 hr drive but from Madison the flight was overnight. So I needed an ophthalmologist locally for follow-up. I searched all the opthamologist in Jackson and settled on Dr Kosko. His Training at UAB in lens exchanges, cataract surgery and glaucoma was top notch.
