Emerging from the alcoholic waves of post-Prohibition activity, Jack Fry's tavern opened up way back in 1933. Mr. Fry closed the original incarnation of the restaurant in 1972 and it changed hands for a few years until it re-opened with the same moniker in 1987. The new owner (a former waitress at old Jack's) still pays homage to the man with his old horse racing pictures and other sports memorabilia hanging on the walls. I had the best steak that I have ever had in my life and my friend had the lamb. The service was fantastic, and the hospitality went above and beyond. I will definitely eat here again in the future
We love it here! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my fave is the salmon. Service is always amazing and our favorite waitress is Robin! Always looking forward to our next great meal here.
This is hands down one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Not only was the food amazing but the staff is incredible. They were packed but caught us in the parking lot when they realized a table was getting up and we were seated right away. Every single person was so nice and the service was impeccable. Would drive all the way from Akron, Ohio just to eat there again!
Thank you and your valet service for towing my car last night on Valentine's day. Even though it was extremely cold and the fact that you have no affiliation signs for the parking lot I was in, you cost me some $$$$$.. Food is absolutely fucking disgusting also. Saw a few river rats scrounging around by the kitchen door
