I am a Disabled Veteran and initially injured my back in 1982. After years of pain and being told I was not a candidate for surgery I had gotten to the point the pain was too bad to not do something. First and foremost Dr Zigler listens to his patients and is a very compassionate human. Every doctor should be required to sit in a consult with him to see how it should be done. Dr Zigler performed my L4-S1 ADR in July 2017. I refused to do a fusion (as recommended by local doctors) and wanted ADR done by the best. Dr Zigler is absolutely one of the best. He is a pioneer in spine surgery. He has given me my life back. He was caring, patient, and took time to answer all my questions without rushing me. First off,Dr. Zigler is an excellent doctor. His staff are very nice and they go out of there way to make sure you ar being cared for. I just had my surgery yesterday morning,my relief is almost instant. They let you know what you can do and not do.The hospital where they do the surgery and care for you after are very thorough in doing their job,they make sure you are comfortable . I cannot praise them enough,and no I don’t work for them or being paid by them.

Dr. Zigler performed surgery on my husband and myself, 15 year apart! When he did my husbands, he was honest and said there was not enough evidence to use an Artificial Disc.Fast forward 15 years and he had total confidence in the ADs and with miraculous results, so that's was our choice. Best decision, EVER! By the way, Dr. Z was wrong about one thing, the revision surgery he told my husband he would have to have in 10-15 years...not happening, still doing well thanks to the amazing Dr Zigler!
