Jack Allen's Kitchen has superb food and great service. It's a little loud, but almost all the better Austin area restaurants are loud. The fact that it was crowded on a Monday night says a lot about their popularity. They are a bit pricey, but they are worth it for the occasional outing.
The salmon was excellent. Also had the pimento dip was surprisingly good. House pinot grigio was crisp and cold. It Rained on the patio the servers were quick to close the windows and I loved hearing the rain on the tin roof. I'll definitely return.
Absolutely Delicious. Wife had the swordfish and I had the Corned Beef.
Got sick 10 minutes after eating here. Never again. Almost 24 hours later and still feel sick

Brunch Buffet offered some tasty and delightful dishes. Chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw were my favorite dishes. However the glass in which I was drinking my tea from was dirty discovered a white ring in the middle inside of the glass, I thought it was a design but it wasn’t. Would rate a little higher if it wasn’t for that.
Literally the best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. Amazing staff as well.
Service was good. My boyfriend ordered the veggie tacos. It came with large chunks of grilled zucchini etc. which was great until he had to try and build a taco out of a tortilla that was less than 3 inches in diameter. The veggies did not even fit in the tortillas. And he was left feeling hungry. They need to give larger and more tortillas with that dish.
The food and service were amazing! We loved the catfish for starters!
