Jaciva's holds a special place in my heart after they made our beautiful wedding cake. We highly recommend them to anyone asking about a bakery in Portland.
Amazing! They did my brothers cake for his swearing in ceremony for the Portland Police department. It was perfect in every way! I'll be getting another cake from them when he graduates from the police academy in March!
I brought my 2 year old in for a treat and Laura was incredible kind! We loved the kitty cookie we got. Thank you!
Best sea salt caramels ever, anywhere. I also appreciate the fact that it's all authentic, down from the carrots they boil and shred for their carrot cake to the handcrafted truffles produced by the excellent chocolatiers. They also have the best cake decorators I've ever seen, in my opinion. There's nothing they can't do (unless it's copy written of course) and the rest of the staff cares about every customer and their satisfaction. Overall, great local, family business!
I am very disappointed with Jaciva's service. I chose them out of all the other cake shops in Portland to make me a personalized cake for my daughters first birthday and they turned me away because they already had to many orders since celebrating their 30th birthday Tuesday. I spoke with a lady Monday who told me to come in Wednesday and they would take my order and be able to make a cake for me this Sunday. They definitely do not live up to their word. Needless to say, I will not be returning!
You have the best chocolate cupcakes!! I will always go out of my way to buy some & cake the 7th Heaven & poppy seed raspberry have always been a family favorite.
I have been frequenting JaCiva's over the last dozen years and not only do they have exceptional desserts but they always provide exceptional service! From their staff serving at the front counters to their bakers in the back, JaCiva's is consistently friendly, helpful and efficient. I am so grateful that they are in my neighborhood and look forward to continued visits!
