Replacement roof I discovered a leak in my roof on Labour Day weekend so I contacted a few companies from this website to get an estimate for a replacement roof. 2 of the 5 companies I contacted responded and I got a couple of estimates for a roof replacement. Unfortunately the estimates were about $3000 apart so I had no idea what the work was worth. I called J Stewart Roofing for a third estimate and it came in between the first two (with no leading!). Reroofing of a downtown gable roof John Stewart and colleagues did a superb job installing a new Energy Star roof on our home. We were keen to have a new roof that would absorb less solar radiation and help with cooling the house in summer. John took us through the various Energy Star (U.S. rated) products available in the Canadian market, and we chose an economical one. He also waterproofed one of the windows on the side of the house. Replaced second floor flat roof J Stewart has done several roofing jobs for me, my family and my neighbours over the years. We've never had a problem with the work, even many years later. I know they are not the cheapest in town but you can rest assured that they will do a proper job and not cut corners.

Roof repair Early March 2011, I'm 9 1/2 months pregnant and Toronto gets heavy rainfall! Our roof was done 3 years ago, before we bought our house, by a company that is now bankrupt. Initially we had a small leak in our toddlers room, with more rain it turned into a big mess and our son had to relocate. Roof replacement John did a thorough inspection of my roof and gave a reasonable quote. The work was done quickly and well. Afterward, when I had 1 small issue that required follow up, John came back and fixed that issue plus another that wasn't even his responsibility. Very pleased with the job!

Roof repair We had a leak in our roof last year and chose J. Stewart Roofing after researching a number of companies and deciding that this was the best. We weren't disappointed. John came out, took photos of our roof and patiently explained what the problem was and how he would fix it. The repair job was great, the price fair, and the problem solved. Roof stripping & replacement, eaves repair During the hottest days of the summer the J. Stewart crew perfomed admirably. They were polite, professional, and very tidy. The clean up they performed at the end of each day gave great confidence to my neighbours and me. Nothing seemed to be too much to ask.
