In the fall of 1976 Jim Pierce began attending Lewis and Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, to receive a degree in Applied Science of Major Appliance and Business. Early 1977 we began a free appliance removal service, and began reconditioning these appliances for resale, to help support our family during the two years Jim was in college. OMG.....reading some of these reviews that give J&S Appliance 4 or less stars, you have got to be kidding. Paul, the service man is awesome and knows what he's doing. Phil is also an awesome man. Everyone at J&S Appliance has always been nice and very respectful. People can write anything and for the bad reviews, I simply don't believe it.
At 5:14 on last night I realized my top of the line Elite Sears Kenmore refrigerator was out. Tried a couple of things, googled it. Out. Called Sears, they very very sorry, someone will be here in six days. Thanks. Called J&S, spoke with Phil for a recommendation. He asked what I had tried and said he could have someone here Monday. GM Brian needs a class on customer service. Did not tell the true cost of service till the bill was sent then threatened to take me to collections. What a joke he is.
I cannot believe how amazing these guys are! After a nightmare two weeks dealing with Home Depot and their delivery guys, J&S was a breath of fresh air! My husband went there last night and they came TODAY. I didn't plan on them taking our old washer/dryer set because my husband said he didn't pay for it. However, the delivery guys said they do free delivery, take away and set up! It would have cost us over $150 for home depot to do that! They even changed the way the dryer door swings to make it easier to transfer the cloth... read more

Terrible customer service!!! The tech came out on a service call and immediately tried to upsell into a replacement washing machine. When we decided not to buy he then billed us for the part we DID NOT order AND the service call to install it! STAY AWAY... you either play their game or you go to collection!!!
Called and they were able to be out the next day to fix my dryer. Thankfully, it was an easy repair. Paul was great and very professional. They will be getting all of our future business.
Paul is our hero! Mom's fridge was running warm and he fixed the fan, ordered a new one and will replace it when it comes in. Now our milk is cold like we like it. Yay Paul!
