In the fall of 1976 Jim Pierce began attending Lewis and Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, to receive a degree in Applied Science of Major Appliance and Business. Early 1977 we began a free appliance removal service, and began reconditioning these appliances for resale, to help support our family during the two years Jim was in college. Absolutely 5 stars! I’ve had great experiences with these folks, have had them come out to fix several appliances over the years. They have always been able to come out promptly, service and travel rates are very fair. I bought my last new appliance from them, I told them what features I wanted (and didn’t want) and they had exactly what I was looking for. Be aware when you do business in Astoria with J & S Appliance. Bought a washer and dryer from them with an extended warranty. We needed repair on the washer and they wouldn't honor the warranty. We've bought several things from them over the years. Never again!!
We have had Joe out for appliance repairs twice in the last few months. He's quick and very informative. Highly recommend J & S.
