Aside from the Happy Hour/Daily Specials, the staff is atrocious and the food is sub-par for this city.
Great atmosphere and food will come again
I was in last night and I brought a friend from out of town to show her some cool bars in downtown GR. I will NEVER go back. First there was bugs in my drink which is gross but I work in the industry so I know it can happen. Maybe if it wasn't pitch black downstairs the bartenders would have seen them. Also the whole time we were sitting there the bartenders had 3 plates of food behind the bar they were eating when they should have been paying attention to their patrons or the drinks they were pouring with bugs in them. Music sucks...big time...internet radio????Listening to music that not even 15 year old kids would???Get a dj guys it doesnt cost that much really...cider was good and not expensive either
The food was great and the service was top notch. Great selection of beers and the Gardellas Burger had ham, bacon, and a fried egg with Gouda cheese! That's a great burger, paired with a Founder beer it was one of the best meals I've had in a long tim! Plus, when we showed up all the tables were full; but they let us pull chairs up to a random table in the back and order there, then move to the couches when they were free! Great staff, good food, good drink means a good time.
