Great Experience – I have rented many apartments over the years from both owner occupied buildings and large apartment complexes. I have to say that renting from J. Butler properties has proven to be the best renting experience yet. Their helpful personable staff and responsive service personnel have been nothing less than superb. Thank you Mr. Butler for what has been an excellent renting experience. If I ever move back to Massachusetts, and I probably will, I will be calling you again. Thanks again.
Scumbags Awful company, awful people – I had lived with my fiance for about a year in a Butler run property. We never heard from them, just sent them a check once a month. We lost power during the ice storm and were without for about 3 weeks with debris all over the yard and up against the house. I had called a couple of times, but had just spoken to Diane and was told I'd get a call back. When we didn't hear from them for a few weeks, my fiance had called J Butler to follow up and find out how long we would be without power... read more
Great Landlord – We recently moved from a high rise in Wakefield managed by this company to a single family in Reading also managed by Butler. (We Just had a baby) Their leasing department did an excellent job meeting our needs, and Katie, Rich, Megan and Jamie were a great help during such a stressful move. Kudos to all. We would recommend BPM to anyone looking to rent.

Happy Tenant – Butler sent me an email asking me to leave a review on City Search talking about my experiences with them as my landlord. I have to say, that they have been great. The leasing agent that helped me find the apartment was wonderful, and I've had a few small repair issues and they always take care of it right away. I've never had a problem and would recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment.

My View... – When I first moved in, the cleaning people left several bags of trash with things that were thrown out from the fridge. It smelled quite disgusting. It took 5 calls to get them to take it out. That would have to be my worst experience with them. After that everything went very well. Any time I needed the maintenance guy to come out, he was here within 24 hours and got the job done fabulously. Great Management Company – I am renting an apartment with J Butler Property Management and they are great. When I first contacted the company they helped me find a beautiful apartment in my price range. I found Jim, James and all the employees very helpful and I have since renewed my lease with them. I can always call them and they fix/repair any maintenance issues immediately. They are always friendly, professional and so obliging. I would recommend this company to any future tenants.
Happiest Tenants – I am an out of work engineer and a separated family who was having trouble making rent payments for my place and living comforatbly. Then J Butler came into the picture.
