Great atmosphere, nice staff, good food! We've come through Maggie Valley a couple times and stop each time. Christmas was the most beautiful Really a great time!

Great setting and food. Lodge like atmosphere with huge floor to ceiling fireplace. Very nice menu and full bar. Reasonably priced. You can't miss on this one.
Food was excellent and service was great. Talked with the owner who made us feel more welcome. Will definitely go back.
My wife and I are locals who live in Waynesville. As one of our favorite local restaurants, we visit J Arthur's frequently. We have always found the food to be outstanding and we've never had a bad meal. The dividend drinks are well worth the visit! Over the years, we've gotten to know many of the staff and found them to always be friendly, polite, and very accommodating so as to make sure we always have a great dining experience. We highly recommend J Arthur's!

We had reservations for Valentine's Day but it wasn't busy yet since it was 4:00 p.m. The service was awful - we didn't get drinks until 4:30 and the waitress didn't take our order until almost 5:00 p.m. When our wings appetizer came, there were chicken feathers on the wings. I brought it to the attention of our waitress who apologized but never offered to take care of it. The food is delicious and the service is very good. Always a good time and never a disappointment...well worth a trip to Maggie Valley.
Prime rib was excellent. Cozy atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. Look for where the locals eat and you can never go wrong. Found my favorite Maggie Valley restaurant.
