RecommendedWe've been visiting J. Arthur's on our annual trips to Maggie Valley, NC for over 25 years. The gorgonzola cheese salad is like nothing else around for at least 200 miles. :) We enjoy the atmosphere, which is unique to this restaurant and the area, and we appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities as well. Don't miss it, but do make reservations -- always crowded, especially on the weekends!

Then thought we was going to have issues with our server, seemed to have a little of an attitude at first after waiting nearly 15 minutes for him to come and take drink orders but thinking maybe he was having a rough day me and my wife continued to be nice and soon his mode turned around.
