It's very difficult to impress me with a steak. They should be tender to the cut, have great flavor, and make one want to eat a second. The steak I had at J. Alexander's was very impressive. I had the steak and fries .. the steak was perfect at medium rare, and the fried were cooked just right. Kudos to you!
This place is divine Charles our waiter was such a sweetheart!
Unfortunately our visit on Saturday was not the BEST we have enjoyed at J Alexander's. We ordered the Red River Chili, one of our favorites and it was almost cold when it reached our table (Cheese not melting). We informed our server (Irene) who did not really seem interested in dealing with the situation. We are not the type people to make a scene so we suffered through it. However, It is the reason we drive down from Knoxville because we really enjoy this dish. We are long term customers and our youngest daughter even work... read more
Loved it......... it was great service and the steak melted in your mouth. I love the atmosphere and everyone is so nice.
