Two words - prime rib. It's not on their usual menu but was a special for New Year's Eve this year, and it has to be a toss-up between Ivy and Wildwood in Geneva for the best I've had in the Chicago suburbs. As always, the wait staff is attentive, the cocktails are tasty, and the rest of the food is great as well.
Spiced chicken peach chutney was delicious and my husband loved his veal Parmesan. I'm so glad I asked about the history. Oh and electricity went off for a few minutes which made it super romantic. We will come back for sure.
My favorite place to go at Christmas time! Always so beautifully decorated for the holidays, delicious food, wine, and desserts, and consistently good service. I love sitting near the fireplace in winter, and the little sunroom off the main dining room is delightful in all seasons.
