Unfortunately, my experience with Henry Ford Reproductive Medicine in Rochester Hills was disappointing. I started treatment with the intention of doing a specialized IVF protocol under Dr. Abuzeid, but by the time I was ready to move forward, he had retired. The doctors who took over are only capable of handling standard IVF cases. They lack the experience and knowledge to work with customized or complex protocols. Eight years after being treated by Dr. Abuzeid, I feel that it is important to share my story. I went to Dr. Abuzeid shortly after Dr. Hayes (Oakwood Hospital at the time) told me that I was infertile. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others are fully informed before choosing this clinic. I came to Henry Ford Reproductive Medicine for help with infertility, and from the beginning, I tried to be diligent about understanding costs. Before even having my initial consultation, I asked the front desk if it would be covered by insurance. 31 weeks pregnant because of this place and this staff. We had a lot of appointments & conversations with Alyssa. She’s amazing!! She was always helping with any questions/concerns we had. Lab team was so great. 10/10 experience the whole way through & because of Alyssa & the whole team, we finally get our bundle of joy :)
