The fish in my Pailla was horribly overcooked. The rice was more like risotto. This was so bad, i wonder if they used frozen fish, and put everything in a rice cooker and let it go. My gf got a hallibut dish from the daily specials menu, it too was dry and tough. Very dissapointed with the food. If you cant cook fish anymore, change the sign... Ivar's is supposed to be a fish restaurant.
We always enjoy our lunches here! Great chowder and wonderful service!
Ivar’s is the best restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. I met my wife and best friend at Ivar’s and it is our best restaurant where we share all of our very special events at. The best staff and food.
