I love this place mostly because of the location but their steak and skewered prawns are so great! We celebrate special occasions there. Just waiting for the weather to be warm enough and the Puget Sound breeze to be calm enough to allow lunch or dinner on the patio.
Always the place for great food and service! Beautiful views from any seat!

I have hosted work and social events with 15+ guests and they have always been impeccable in their food, service, and care. The crew there is hard working, fun, and especially kind. I truly appreciate them!
First time to this Ivar's (usually go to the one on the pier in Seattle) and loved it. I find it funny that many in the Pacific Northwest have to be a chowder connoisseur, and being from Alaska its never been my thing, that being said, I love theirs!! There is a place out between Tillamook and Rockaway Beach that is about as good as Ivar's, I prefer Ivar's( I usually have a bite or two of my hubbies and I found myself eating half of it).
