Properties are not properly maintained, refunds are promised but later denied, and accountability is consistently shifted to the homeowner. The home had clearly not been cleaned recently, with dead insects and pest droppings throughout. There were also significant plumbing issues that made sleeping in the master suite impossible due to a loud humming noise that occurred at night. Pool was supposed to be heated but wasn’t. The house is very comfortable and everything works very well. The lanai is very nice and the pool is kept warm. I would definitely rent again.
"My husband and I stayed at Lover’s Key in March 2025. The top take away is the location is perfect. It is on Black Island which is section of beach that separates the busier sections of Bonita Springs and Fort Myers Beach. There are only 3 condo high rises and a restaurant to suggest civilization. There are only restaurants is a state park that is only a few minutes down the road. There is a 2 mile white sand beach and a trolley to transport you there from the parking lot. This was our first time renting in Sail Harbour. The condo is just as pictured, bright, sunny and spacious. The pool was smaller than expected for the size of the complex. The location is close to just about everything we enjoy in Fort Myers including Shrimp Shack, Bahama Breeze, Starz Pizza as well as visiting Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve, Sanibel and Captiva. Communication was excellent!"
We stayed 9 days and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The unit faces east, so we enjoyed sunrises overlooking the water every morning. During the hottest part of the day, the balcony had shade, so it was pleasant out there all day long. There's a nicely equipped workout room in the building and practically no competition for the equipment, so it was like having our very own gym.
