It was all very good. The service was good, the food was good and loved the atmosphere! We will definitely be going back!
Black Russian was very good along with excellent service. I had the Caesar salad and chicken Parmesan which was very tender. The marinara sauce on the pasta lacked something. My husband had the lasagne and he said the same thing. Sauce was just OK. We both had a cannolli for dessert and that was terrific. We sat in the very first booth by the maiterde so there was a lot of congestion and talking. We would have enjoyed ourself more if we sat further in the restaurant.
Best italian food I've ever had, service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect! Next time we visit Chicago, we will definitely be coming back!
Traveling from STL, We ALWAYS plan dinner at The Italian Village, and Usually plan it for my last night to have take-homes too! It is so good, made from scratch, old world Italian food. Service is amazing and the setting inside the restaurant is very nice, romantic and unlike any other restaurant I have ever been. It's a must-do in my book!
I ordered the chicken Vesuvio and the chicken was very overcooked and lost it’s flavor and potato wedges were very salty and didn’t eat them. It didn’t taste like it had garlic which was an important ingredient. Not a fan anymore
