Took my girlfriend out for Valentines dinner and the server was excellent with us. The restaurant was packed but we still had our reservations so we had our table ready. The food was excellent as well. Definitely will go back again for another date night.
We were disappointed. Service was great and manager was good. Wine was delicious. Coffee and tiramisu were good. Soup, salad and meal were disappointing. Food was flavorless. Ranch dressing was just creamy dressing with no flavor, fettuccine alredo was bland, risotto was hard (manager did fix it and was very accommodating), vodka sauce was flavorless too. Was here years ago and it was delicious. 😔
No matter what, I will always love this place, keep going back.
We had a wonderful experience! We arrived in plenty of time prior to seeing Hamilton. Not wanting to over eat, my daughter and I shared fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was so tender! Service was outstanding, they really kept an eye on us, never leaving an unnecessary plate on the table, offering coffee at the perfect time and always keeping our water glass full. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!!
My son & I have got in this habit of eating at the Italian Village when we come to Chicago to see a show in the theater district. They do have excellent Italian food and I am always “stuffed” when I leave there. The atmosphere is wonderful! It is kind of pricey for my budget but I put $ aside if I plan on eating there. Also, it is totally worth it as the portions are large & the homemade Caesar Salad dressing is to die for! Get there early by 5:30 or so or you are in for an hour or more wait. Great classy atmosphere, delicious food and faboulous professional staff, also good prices comparing to high end fine dinning. I had such a great time celebrating my friend’s BD!
