I love the Italian Market. They make one of the best chai lattes in the city in my opinion. Their desserts are always great - the tortes are especially wonderful.
One of my favorite places to go. The food is always amazing and above all else, the staff is amazing, very accommodating with any requests for allergies or just in general. I love always getting greeted with a smile, and a happy have a great day at the end. The staff make the experience just that much better.
Great people great food
I've been coming to the Italian Market for over 10 years. It's my favourite lunch spot in Halifax. Really reasonable prices, especially considering the quality you're getting. Brought a friend for lunch and he was blown away at the good portion sizes for the price, and the service is always friendly. Lots of niche imported Italian goods on the grocery spot as well.
Food is great and nice atmosphere. However they have got to do something about the wait time, it’s a consistent issue. We were last there mid afternoon on a week day, restaurant was nearly empty with no one waiting at the counter. We ordered 2 sandwiches and side deli salad (pre made) - and astoundingly it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. Would be great to rely on efficient service for a quick bite but would still return.
