This is what I liked: It was quick to get equipment. Lots of refills on the products, kind of overly so sometimes 24 hour call line This is what I didn’t like: Took a while to get some supplies and medication The staff was not in great communication with each other Sometimes we had to make the same requests with different people They do not know their schedule enough ahead of time to schedule their visits efficiently They are always changing people I did not appreciate when one of the nurses communicated with one family memb... read more
Not all nurses dependable or reliable
Just attended a Memorial Service for a dear family member and Chaplain Sally Handley provided the Invocation, Message and Benediction. Her presence added such peace and comfort to the family. We truly appreciated her and Island Hospice.
Wonderful team. I communicate w/ Huali on many occasions and she is awesome. She is sweet, kind, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and understanding..she just has a huge heart! This line of of work cannot be easy, but they make it seem that way.
Our ohana highly recommends Island Hospice to any who has a terminally ill family member at home. They really are an amazing team with all the support they've provided us with and preparing us for what's about to come Everyone staff member that has assisted us through this process has been patient, knowledge and very kind at heart. We couldn't thank them enough.
