I had a great appointment with Doctor Hillary Quinn today. She was incredibly welcoming, informative, and above all else; genuinely excited to educate with zero pressure. With health care being so inaccessible to many British Columbians it was such a breath of fresh air to have a physician take time and such care with a patient. I left with all of my questions answered, requisitions for further appointments, and a lot of information I didn't know I wanted. Reception was also very pleasant.
I was at ISH clinic in December for IUD removal and insertion. I had an NP named Cecille (I may have the name wrong). They were amazing!! They made the whole process so smooth, I felt very safe and in good hands. I opted to do no cervical numbing and it was not bad, I highly recommend especially for anyone who feels anxious about it.
Staff are great and professional. Environment is very positive and supportive. Lots of supplemental products and helpful resources are available to visitors. Easy to get an appointment, but likely you need to book 1 or 2 weeks out.
False hours and no replys to answering machine don't have a phone so I called after work off wifi left a message stating my situation and gave them email to leave a reply at to help me book appointment. I didn't get a reply so I tried to drive to the office which is pretty out of the way for me and they no one home lights out and doors locked 4.5 hours before posted time. I'm now getting my stuff sorted with a doctor out of Penticton and I will not be coming here for retesting
