I love this place!
This is a nice resort where you can spend all your time if you like, or you can get out and explore Key West. You can walk to Duval Street in under 15 minutes, or there are plenty of Ubers available we never waited more than 5 minutes to be picked up. The staff is friendly, and the happy hour is a great mixer. Our stay was October 2025, and you get three free drinks during happy hour at the pool and most guests are there, so it is a good time where you will meet and chat with people. My absolute favorite vacation spot. I get to be naked in tropical breezes and foliage, with excellent food and drink options. The people who go here are also always interesting, well-rounded, and good to converse with. The resort has everything for everyone whether you like to just chill naked or are on the friskier side. I'm so glad I was open enough to trying this place, because I now look forward to going twice a year. We love Island House. It's always an interesting crowd. Meeting new people is fun. Why not 5 stars?...well...it boils down to service and great people. The room: renovations are great. The rooms are very nice. The location: the location is convenient and easy access to shopping and restaurants. The service: the front desk is spot on, no issues there. The housekeeping: spot on. Thanks to Island House for providing a great place to stay! ☺️
