I had high expectations for this sauna, but unfortunately it’s completely overrated. The service was disappointing from start to finish. What really stood out (in a bad way) was the behavior of one of the servers (Angel, the Spain guy) who came up to us asking for more tip after we had already paid. Tips are optional, and being pressured like that felt extremely unprofessional and honestly insulting. Island house is our favorite gay resort to stay at when we're down in Key West. The atmosphere, the staff, the rooms. The services are all incredible. We love this place! Also, as an added note, we both had the most incredible massages from Dave the masseur. He does an excellent job and leaves you feeling like butter when you're done. Highly recommend getting a massage from Dave!
