Island Dog Bar is always one of our favorite stops whenever we’re in Key West! We make a point to come here every time we visit, especially for happy hour. We love sitting outside, and our dog loves it too. This was the first time we ordered coconut shrimp and they were AMAZING. Definitely one of our favorites. You can actually taste the real coconut flakes in the breading, which makes them so much better than coconut shrimp we’ve had elsewhere. Food and atmosphere were great. I sat at the bar, the service was terrible. Bartenders couldn’t have been less friendly and had to wait to get my check until they were done talking, vaping, doing shots and texting.
Great spot. Friendly service. Good portions for the price.
Stopped here last night for a beer. Our bartender was polite and efficient.
