I've had both of my legs done by Dr. Simon and I couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Simon is through and he has a soothing voice that puts you at ease. You won't be disappointed if you use Dr. Simon.
The last thing I needed to hear when I went to the ER was that I needed emergency surgery, for something I had never even heard of, Intussusception surgery. I was very impressed with Dr Simon asking me lots of questions and listening and acting on the information. Later both he and his staff were great with the follow up app. Excellent surgeon. Very thorough.
Dr. Simon has a warm smile which immediately helps even the sickest. He is willing to take time with you and answer questions over and over until you understand. He draws diagrams to explain things and listens to you problems. I have spent 45 years in the medical profession and can honestly say this is very unique for surgeons and you feel very safe in his care. He is truly punctual, caring and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Simon for your surgery.
Dr. Irwin Simon is possibly the best general surgeon in Nevada
Dr. Simon was my surgeon for inguinal hernia repair. He explained everything in detail so that my family and I could understand everything. He is very easy to talk to and assessable. His staff set up everything with the Spring Valley Monday for a Thursday surgery. His staff is friendly, professional and efficient. I adore Dr Simon. He is the best surgeon in this town...by far! I would not let anyone do surgery on me ever. He's done 2 surgeries (one 14 years ago and one 2 years ago) on me and will do another next week. He is just the best. He will be my surgeon for life! I have a tricky gallbladder removal surgery coming up next week and I know there is no other doctor more qualified and experienced to remove my gallbladder and stubborn stuck gallstone. laparoscopic colon resection - Dr Simon is very gifted surgeon, all my questions and concerns were answered. He was available before surgery, every day during my hospital stay and during my recovering. I have recommended him to a friend , knwing she will be with the BEST.
Fantastic surgeon! I had a DaVinci single site robotic assisted laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. I was pretty much back to normal within just a few days. Took nothing more than Tylenol for pain the day after surgery, that was it. The difference in how I feel is amazing. Thank you Dr Simon! Office staff great too, always pleasant. Would definitely recommend Dr Simon.
