I suggest that if you’re considering surgery with this doctor, make sure to clearly establish your pain management plan in advance. Discuss expectations for pain relief and how it will be handled post-surgery to avoid any surprises. It’s also important to research the hospital he’s affiliated with, as your experience there can play a significant role in the overall outcome. Check their reviews and make sure it’s the right fit for your needs.

Since 2018 I had been a patient of Mr Irvin Guterman for spine injury, He is a excellent healer .You can have the worst pain but when you visit him you don't feel the pain. His professionalism is far beyond expectation.

Dr Guterman did my left knee replacement in 2016 its now 2020 and I now have to have a second knee replacement on my left knee due to the hardware is no longer there it has worn away. In 2017 Dr Guterman replaced my right knee less than a year later I had to have a revision done on my right knee. I was not told that a revision could result in a length discrepancy between my legs. Bottom line he has shoddy workmanship and uses inferior materials or is it the surgeon himself. Maybe he is doing too many replacements.

I recently broke my wrist and was concerned when the ER doctor recommended surgery. Dr. Guterman put my mind at ease. He is patient, kind, and willing to take whatever time you need to get all of your questions answered. The surgery went well and I am on the road to recovery. His staff is also friendly and welcoming. Overall an excellent experience.

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Guterman. He is a technical virtuoso. He also has an excellent bedside manner, better than other surgeons I had spoken to about knee replacement. He took time to learn about me and my lifestyle so he could provide realistic post-surgical expectations. He also carefully explained both surgical and non-surgical treatments, the potential pros and cons of each, and potential complications so that I could make an informed decision.

I am 63 years old and my whole life I have never had a doctor more caring and more knowledgeable about his practice then doctor. Guterman both of my knees were completely worn out. And he replaced both I could never repay him for what he's done for me my best friend dr. Guterman

This is my husbands 2 knee by Dr. Guterman . Dr Guterman replaced right knee this time last year and the left knee this year. Dr Guterman is amazing. My husband was in so much pain and he is pain free since the replacement. I would recommend him to all my friends and relatives. Dr. Guterman is the best Orthapedic surgeon my husband has ever had.

What a fantastic DR, and kind man. He was patient, considerate, involved, and very kind. I had a total knee replacement, and could not be happier with the surgery. His staff was fantastic, organized, and very very kind. I asked him if they could train airline employees. When the time comes for the next knee, he is it.
