I lived here for 3 years. The apartment layout and style inside was very nice. Nicer than most of the apartment complexes around Bloomington/Normal. However, I needed to extend my lease and they wanted almost 2200$ for one months rent. That's over double what I was paying a month normally. The maintenance team was okay. They have a huge problem with bugs during the summer. Lots of bee and wasp nests and when you ask for them to come get rid of them, maintenance half assed removal. Lived there 1year in studio Apartment was to small needed a 1 bedroom at lower price than what they had. Everyone very Friendly.
It's an overall.nice place. The maintenance and office people are great. Like the geese and ducks and they do allow pets which is a huge plus, BUT the owners are just money hungry. They don't care how loyal you are to them, paying rent early, etc when you go to leave you have to pay for the full month! Also is you have to go month to month they jack the price up $150 per month. Not worth it.
I love Ironwood and it's staff. Maintenance is always right there and on it to respond to calls for help. The property is well kept. And, the office staff are very nice, focused, and accommodating. Ithas been a great transition to my new home.
